BioThis is my first attempt at an online journal of sorts. I don't get a lot of time to write, so it may be few and far between, but be patient. If something is locked, its cause I don't wanna share. :)
I like to ramble, so deal with it.
I live on a lovely island, with my Love ... we're a couple of queers, so we have a fun time educating our friends and neighbors about the joys of living outside a binary gender system. There's more to life than just male or female.
We have 3 kitties: Daver, a big, beautiful Maine Coon; Little Mr., a gorgeous black and white Tuxedo; and our baby, Elliott, a medium hair kitten-faced tabby. We aren't allowed to have dogs where we live, so we live vicariously through our friends, and hope to move soon, so our lives can be made more complete by the addition of doggy breath.
I'm a big nerd and love 80's flicks and random quotes from silly movies.
I ♥ Alton Brown. Him and my Mother have taught me so much. They're my foodie-heros.
I love to cook, and love to talk about food and ways to make it tasty. I like good knives and other fun and exciting kitchen toys- but not unitaskers; they're the devil. :P
Life is a beautiful thing... I'm so blessed to wake up breathing every day, with my best friend by my side, we sing... sing... sing... "Oh, I'm a lumberjack, and I'm ok..."
